KV Augustyamuni, Rudraprayag
Kendriya Vidyalaya are the co-educational institute established in 1963 to provide educational facilities to the children of defence personnel, transferable central govt. employees, employees of autonomous bodies etc. These vidyalayas are run by KVS, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. There are more than 1200 Kendriya Vidyalayas all over India and abroad.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Augustyamuni was established in the year 2004 in a temporary building from classes I to V. Currently vidyalaya is running from classes I to XII with science stream . Vidyalaya is located 70 km before the Kedarnath temple.Vidyalaya is performing very well at the regional level and given excellent results in Board examination conducted by CBSE.
