School Principal Message

Teaching kids to count is fine but teaching kids what to count is best…
Going by the above adage K.V. Augustyamuni is ever striving to provide congenial, spirited, joyful, and growth-oriented milieu to our young learners in the serene locale of Augustyamuni, a small town adorning the Himalayan range on the banks of river Mandakini. We seek to weave together, threads modern knowledge along with our rich ancient culture leading to a vibrant, knowledgeable society brimming with a sense of pride and dignity in Indian ethos.

Towing enthusiastically, the vision and mission of KVS we aspire for a learning zone which gives ample opportunities to both mentors and mentees to grow and flourish. In this everchanging world we need to create leaders who have the capacity to learn, unlearn and relearn. Today’s knowledge can be redundant tomorrow; so, in today’s scenario education is not about imparting knowledge but to teach how to create knowledge and apply it. In this era of information overload through various internet platforms we believe that prudence and discretion are the most important qualities to be inculcated.
Wisdom and integrity alone can make a Nation great. Technology advanced world devoid of ethic is the most perilous combination humanity can ever face. Thus, at K.V. Augustyamuni ethics, values and character building are the hidden motifs, guiding and leading our everyday teaching learning processes.

Our relentless, pursuit of excellence, leads us to a new and integrated way of, teaching-learning. We believe every student is unique and so is her journey towards knowledge and wisdom. In order to cater to this uniqueness our teachers use differential teaching strategies which involve visual, auditory and other sensory faculties to make learning better and joyful. Everyday lessons not only cover syllabus but also much needed skills of the 21st Century. A well-rounded personality with a strong sense of right and wrong coupled with self confidence is what we aim for in this Vidyalaya. Students’ humility of owning mistakes is as important as their self-assurance. We are committed towards the growth of our pupil in every sphere of human life, be it social or spiritual.

I also take this as an opportunity to seek support and co-operation of all our other stake holders. I invite them to contribute to this noble cause with their valuable inputs and insights. 'Empowering education' can only exist with community involvement. 'Significance of Parents’ participation in their ward’s education can never be denied. With this view I hope we all will came together with new mindset, method and mechanism for the development of our future citizens.
I end my message with Mother Teresa's words "I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot, Together we can do great things".
